Documentation question...

Ok this question is quite simply. My DSLR is coming next week and I was wondering, when you guys go out and shoot, do you document the settings you used for particular shots. It seemed to me like sometimes this would be difficult to do so I was wondering how you guys do it... Thanks for your time...

When I shot with film, I would do it occasionally. As you stated, sometimes it's difficult. With digital, it's done automatically via the EXIF information. The wonders of modern science!
