Does overexposed work in this picture?

I wanted to play with AV mode and not always shoot in M which I think I'm having issues with. So I was testing with + 1 EC to see how things would work out. Here are couple of pix the first one, i had her stand there because the sun was shining hard there and I wanted to get the effect I was thinking of. Seemed to work. What do you think? Also, I lowered the clarity to give that dreamy effect to it so it looks even more overexposed

This one was in the shade where it's not overexposed. She likes the color but I like the BW

Hmm, I don't know what to think about that overexposed one. Something tells me I like it, but then again something isn't sitting well with me. Might be the composition, pose, face ... I just can't put my finger on it lol.

I agree with you, the BW is by far the better of the two, nice shot

A note on #2. The vertical is ever so slightly rotated CW. With the pose as it is and the head turned to her left shoulder, I get the feeling that she is falling. Well, falling is too strong a description, but it feels tilted more than it really is to me.

yeah #1 would DEF work if she wasnt wearing a bright white shirt.

Thanks. Actually she is looking at me LOL I guess it's the sunglasses that won't show her eyes so it looks like she's looking off somewhere else
