DOF testing

Have this Nikkor 50mm F1.2 that I picked up when I was back in Calgary in 2012. Never really used it much w/ the Pentax systems as I found the adapter sludged the focus too much. Forgot we had it until the other day. Tried it out last night on Salty and our oldest pup, Dexter

Both are SOC - minus a resize. Salty was shot @ F2. Dexter was shot @ F1.4

Good use of shallow DOF...often it is annoying, but these three are pleasant and well-done...no important areas are shown annoyingly OOF. BRAVO!
