C&C per req:

1. You're off to a good start; a few thoughts: The point of focus seems to be the boards just below his/her feet. The exposure here was tricky due to all the light-coloured background. For this scene, I would suggest spot-metering the face (and making sure that your point of focus is on the eyes).

2. This is a cute shot, but the background is wayyyyyy too distracting. Always look for plain, undetailed backgrounds whenever possible. Comments on exposure as per #1.
