What do you think of Dolica tripods?

I just ordred the Dolica AX620B100 Proline

What do you think of it?

Seems kinda light,.. why not get a good one the first time?

I do like the flippy releases but the low price is suspicious and reviews indicate less than ideal performance with heavier rigs.

If you can spend a bit more something like this (or many like it) will serve you way beyond a compromise solution.

I think you should have asked these kinds of questions before you bought it...

Just googled it, looks to be a budget tripod ($40-50). Don't really know anything else about it..., guess we'll find out when it arrives. For that price I wouldn't expect it to last forever, but it might be OK depending on usage...

What kind of gear do you plan on mounting on it?

It might not do so well if you have a lot of weight up there.
