I just bought another lens.
It wasn't too expensive as lenses go but considering that we recently bought a house while she is still in school...I probably shouldn't have spent the money.
Anyway, it's a 100-300 F5.6-6.7 Vivitar AF, for my Canon EOS. It's a little slow but I don't plan on using it for portraits or low light so I should be OK.
I got it used from the local camera shop. It's a great little shop that I love to give my business to. They don't sell much, if any, new stuff and they are one of the best repair shops in western Canada. (or so I hear).
I was looking at the a Canon 75-300 but this one was cheaper. If the Canon had been USM I would have sprung for it...but it wasn't.
I'm going camping in the mountains later this month so I figured I could use a long zoom. Now all I want to do is leave work so I can go home and try it out.
