So, I originally started taking pictures when I skated (inline) and that is where my love of it came in, as well as my first use of flash. I stopped that a while ago, but today went back to a similar shooting style, downhill mountain biking. Both are hard to focus on, both need a faster than normal flash sync speed, and both look pretty similar in the composition and lighting styles.
These are from a local free ride park, and to be honest, I'm not terribly happy with them. Because of my restricted sync speed to 1/250 of a second, none of them are actually sharp, which is hugely frustrating.
Shot with a mix of Nikon d800 and D3 with a mix of a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8.
