downloading RAW from Canon Rebel XT

Hey,

I just switched my Rebel XT to RAW to see what it would be like... I (foolishly) took some pictures I need for a paper in RAW and now I can't seem to download them. My computer doesn't even show that they exist. Picasa Acquires 0 Files, Adobe Photodownloader only shows a JPEG I took 5 minutes ago. All the pictures show up fine on my computer.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Got it... had to install Adobe lightroom. The trial expires in 30 days though, is there a better way to use RAWs?

Your camera should have come with a disk "Digital Photo Professional" version 3 now I think. It was package to help do post work on RAW and JPEG files.
