Not really the hood, just downtown spokane.

Four Shots from this last thursday evening. Flickr usually flattens and desaturates my cross processed images (all of these), so some of them may look a little light.

Number 3 for me. Really beautiful lines.

Number 2 would've also rocked my boat had the cigarette butt been a bit closer. The cigarette makes the shot, but it's almost lost there. I might be way off, but it seems that you had to blur both foreground and background so the butt could stand out a bit. (Then again, it might just be shallow DOF.)

I have a better edit of #4, with a less flat "piss off", but I have yet to upload it.

50mm 1.8 at 1.8, so it is the DOF.

Thanks for the input. I focused on capturing the smoke, so the cigarette was kind of a secondary contributor to the photo. I have a lot of different shots of the smoke and cigarette, but I liked this one the best because of the glow the smoke has. It had that in the original file.

Fourth and second are very nice. The light in the first one seems a bit off (just a little) and the third one feels dull for me.
