Drama inside and out

I really wanted to make this photo dramatic to reflect to drama that happens inside the opera house C&C welcome.

Interesting idea, but I think landscape would have worked better. It would have given us a little less sky, but still made the point. Also the image is a bit muddy.

I shot this in landscape as well, but there were too many things on the sides that I did not want to include (trees, bushes, people, signs, etc).

You could crop it back down to landscape... or nearly so.

Agreed, landscape looks a lot better

I would like to see original crop, or similar... were those distractions really that big of a deal or they could add to the photo?
