Dream Lake (RMNP)

Hi All-

Got out for a short solo hike into Rocky Mountain National Park. Waited and hoped for some clouds, although it was calling for clear skies. Got very lucky and just after sunset the clouds illuminated a beautiful dark orange and red.

Great day in the mountains.

Go to the bear lake trailhead and go about 1.2 miles in to dream lake...Beautiful views

Haha Nice! I almost said it looks a bit like Bear Lake. I guess I was close.

Ive been trying to get up to Bear Lake for Some Astro shots. Is there a nice SW view at Dream Lake?

Ehh...this is looking due west and to the sw is only trees really. If you kept hiking, to emerald lake (closer to the base of the mountain) you may have better views.
