Not bad, but there are better effects here. Diffusion glow is the keyword to search for. This seems to simply have a translucent white layer put over it, which is nice, but not quite as nice as a diffusion glow kind of effect.

I am, of course, guessing at the effect you're looking for. If I am wrong, forgive me!

Otherwise, quite nice. She's very pleasant to look at, the light is pleasant albeit a little flat. Someone will probably tell you to turn the camera 90 degrees, but I think the landscape orientation works ok here.

Thank you for your feedback I see what you mean, I played around with it for a little and liked the "milkyness", but its as always everybody's taste and preferences.

Not sure that the hard-light electronic flash goes well with the diffusion effect. I LIKE diffusion/soft glow/gaussian blur effects, but the sharp, hard-edged shadow under her chin makes the effect look pasted-on in post, rather than a part of the entire concept, start-to-finish. I do not think the horizontal works all that well here: I would crop this image almost to a square.

Looks like an offset layer to me.

For this type of effect to occur naturally you need them to be in line with the sun directly behind them and it will create the glowing aura around the face like this.....

You can do it by using a falsh for backlighting too. Works pretty decent.
