I don't know about the higher end cameras. But this camera looks like big with a battery grip attached to it. So is this better than Canon Rebel MK II?

Your a bit late, as there already was a thread about this camera here! And in the article in that thread you even have the pictures without those ugly watermarks. And putting a thread like this in the beginners part of the forum, is just putting crazy ideas in peoples heads!

And yes, I think it just beats some of the Rebel series cameras ^_^

The 1d is the canon flagship of cameras. It is the best model they offer.
