Duck Pond

I have finally gotten some decent shots of the ducks by the pond today. I am looking for suggestions to improve the technical aspects of the photo. Should the white balance be adjusted, the aperture changed for a different DOF, different composition, exposure, etc. I did shoot this in RAW so I have some room to play.

Canon Rebel XT w/ Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III USM Autofocus Lens

1/250, f/5.6, ISO200,300mm

It looks like you did a non-conventional crop. You probably cropped the image to what looked good instead of using a 2:3 or 5:7, etc. ratio. You might not be able to easily print that actual image, which is what photography is all about.
