Ducks in Winter Setting

Ducks in a winter setting. As I was taking these I realized I have not taken very many pictures of ducks.

Maybe it was just the lighting, but I was a bit surprised with the dynamic range issues in the scene caused by the heads of the male mallards. Even using fill flash parts of the head were really dark.
