Eagle on a cloudy day

Eagles are on the move for food, Eaglets Hatched 1-1-11. I have missed the incoming fish shot twice now! Looks like I have many weeks to score as the food they bring back will get bigger. Right now just little fish.....soon it will be Coot time!!

When the sky is so bright, although cloudy, how is it you are able to get the underside of the eagles so well?

No filters used. On a cloudy day I sent exposure for the dark colors instead of the white head where as in the sun I would set exposure for the whites

JDROTH.....I use all Nikon gear and lenses. I shot mostly in manual mode but credit is due to my 200-400mm F4 lens (with a 1.4x t.c.)
