I took this photo of an eagle owl last sunday, what do you think?

I can almost see you in his eye! I think if you darken his bill a bit, it'd give the picture more depth.

the look, focus, dof are all great.
the off-horizontal of the pupils of the eyes are a little off-putting.

thanks, it was a gorgeous owl. this is the only picture of him where there wasnt lots of horrible ugly blue fencing in the background. and luckily its the best picture of him too.

I like the darkened bill! My eye now travels the picture, instead of staying in one place.

I am a bird lover, raptors and big parrots. The color pic is stunning IMHO, and I like it better W/O the crop. Great shot with lots of detail. This one needs to be printed BIG.
