I've been spending all my spare time on an Eagle quest. They always seem to be too far away so these are cropped by a lot. Even using my Bird Whisperer powers they just don't like me. Add that to miserable foggy weather and I have yet to grab a really good shot. At least I got to see 3 adults and 2 sub-adults today which is always cool to see in the wild. Just figured I would share. You know how persistent I am.

I normally wouldn't crop this tight. This is a common merganser flying by at a high rate of speed. I was panning on it but it ended up at the far left of my frame. For some reason I thought it came out sorta cool considering how crappy the light was... at 1/400th which is way too slow for a flying duck
