Editing Question

i just found out about a photo editing program called "nikon capture nx" now this probably is a stupid question but can i only use this program with pictures taken with a nikon, because that would really make no sense because they're all JPEG files, so back to my original question can i use this program with pictures taken by a camera other than nikon?

I've never used that software, but I'm pretty sure that it is a RAW processing program for Nikon NEF files.

That's right. Its main purpose is to convert NEF files to another format like JPEG so you can process them with whichever software you use Jfor JPEGS from your camera.
