I hope this is the right thread to post this in. I have am looking at some new software. I have p/s 7.0, and of course gimp, but I am looking at either Picture Window Pro or Bibble Pro. Was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions about these programs. By the way, I will be upgrading to cs3 or 4 soon, just kinda waiting. These are both fairly reasonable. thanks.
If you're upgrading to CS3 or 4, I would suggest Lightroom. It's a bit more costly, but the way it works with CS3 or 4 would really make your workflow easier. I have LR and CS3 Ext, but I rarely use CS3. I use LR for 98% of my editing.
LR == Raw processor PS CS# == Editor. you sure you know which one you really need? If you are just adjusting photos and doing basic editing (removing dust spots for example), then LR is what you want.
