Hi Guys,
Although this topic might have been discussed a zillion times I was hoping for some suggestions in regards choosing the right monitor for my photo editing from someone who has used either of the following
Dell™UltraSharp™ U2413 24” monitor with PremierColor or EIZO FlexScan EV2436W
I am just an enthusiast photographer who mainly does landscapes and portraits and I am ready to upgrade my monitor to a professional-ish level monitor. Apart from the obvious difference of absence of adobe rgb gamut in the EIZO (which I am not sure affects me that much) is there something I need to know. I have been researching for 2 months now and if I do anymore research my brain will explode. Please make the decision for me.

No, its not been discussed a zillion times.

Best is if you get the hardware to color adjust your monitor (costs 300 bucks or something like that) or get it from somewhere.

Without such a color adjust, even a eizo wont be optimal, and with it, you can use pretty much any monitor you want.

You have to repeat this adjust after a while, too.

P.s.: Oh and the same is true for the printer. They also need adjustment.
