What's new

Electronic dry cabinet.

I doubt you need it unless perhaps you live very close to the ocean.

Thank you.

You can also get yourself a cabinet and then seal the door seams with weatherstripping foam tape so it restricts airflow. Then add a inexpensive dehumidifier, many to choose from on Amazon.

Add a battery powered humidistat to the cabinet so you can monitor the humidity level.

I live in SoCal too and I've never needed one. The SW USA is very dry on average.

Good for buying used lenses (very little lens fungus hereabouts) :-)

Thank you.

I have lived in the desert Southwest since 1973. Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. Humidity has never been a problem for my photography equipment.

I live in an area where our humidity gets in the 70's with temps in the 40'sC.
Only ever had one casualty from humidity and it was a really cheap lens.

Thank you.
