My wife was raised in northern Minnesota. One of her earliest memories was when spring came - and she was frightened by all that green stuff that was showing up on the ground. It wasn't natural like that nice white stuff.

As I was posting that I was thinking "you know... Canada is massive. That's a pretty ridiculous over generalization." but I went with it anyway.
