empty film cannisters

well its sorta crazy post maybe but,,,,,,,I have a 33 gallon garbage bage full of empty film cannisters and was wondering,,,,before I dumped them in the garbage, if there was any one or any place that makes use of these. Would be a shame to scrap them if there is a use.

lol I got a ton of the plastic ones....and yet I was compelled to go buy some of the old metal ones.

Actually I am going to have to do some fiddlen with a couple of the plastic ones in the next few days. I will tell ya about it if it works well.

^^^ Yes, my local camera store takes 'em back for recycling. Although I tend to keep a bunch of the opague ones (that shut tightly) to use when travelling, for everything from jewellery to tokens to aspirin and even some liquids.
