Can I use the Nikon En-El3e Battery with my Nikon D70?

If not, what is a good equivilent?

I disagree the EN-EL3e can be used in the D70 and D70s but the old EN-EL3 cannot be used in the newer cameras D200, D300

I am using the EN-EL3E in my d50 d80 and d300
the EN-EL3a will not physically fit in the 80 or 300

Nope it'll run fine, when nikon sent me a replacement battery for my D70 it was a EN-EL3e, and I use it between my D200 and D70 every day.
