Entry-Level DSLR Video

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions beyond the Nikon D3100 and Canon T3 in terms of entry-level DSLR's. I'm looking to spend $300-400 or so for a body only model. I have a review channel on youtube and I think it's time to up my video quality (currently use a pentax q). I think the Nikon will be better because I really need autofocus while shooting but I thought some of you guys might have better suggestions. Thanks.

As far as entry level DSLR's Nikon, Canon, and Sony are what come to mind. You can achieve really great quality from the small models, if equipped with a good lens, and lighting. The lens should be where you invest the most. What is the nature of your video that you shoot? Have you looked at HD Camcorders instead? The 70d is the only Canon model that has autofocus for video, but that is well outside of your 400 range.

T3i is pretty good bang for your buck as far as video goes.

Buy the Nikon D3200 refurbished from Adorama. You can get it complete with a kit lens for $379. It has full 1080p HD video recording with full time 3D focus tracking. They put it head to head with the T4i in video tests and it scored better on the tracking and audio quality. Its also 24mp.
