My first decent try at HDR.

You typically want to shoot a high contrast scene for HDR conversion. I'm not seeing a lot of contrast in your photo. IMO.

Cool shot, but have you thought about going full b&w on this? The colour seems to add nothing but distractions here. It also doesn't really seem like you needed to use HDR here, shots like this usually turn out pretty good on just one exposure. You still have blown highlights anyway so the HDR has just really made the whole image look a bit flat. A tone curve adjustment might help here.
