What do you think? I'm not entirely happy with the composition, and the sunset wasn't great that night.. but I still think it came out OK.
 
I see what you were trying to do with leading lines for the comp, good effort but I agree not quite engaging enough. It can be hard to create those wonderful smooth lines when the rocks are that rough / barnacle encrusted. You chose well forthe tripod height though.

Processing looks over saturated and appears to be some ghosting. If you want to shoot lost of seascapes a graduated neutral density filter can let you take this as a sigle long exposure :)
 
I used a gradual ND filter. 2 stacked in fact lol. The sky was simply not very good that day, and as such I had to boost the saturation more than I would usually. I have a lot of shots from this set that are long exposures (2-15 seconds or so) like you said, but they are just flat and boring unfortunately.


Damn skies.. not showing up to the party of my night off work.

What is it like with a little less rocks?
