Ever Have One Of Those Days?

I spent several hours at the zoo yesterday and when I got home and checked my pictures... pretty much every one of them was bad in some fundamental day. Mostly, I missed the focus. It was right around noon and there was glare everywhere... but still, that's not a good excuse. These were the best of the batch and I'm really not thrilled. If they were all sharp, they'd be keepers. Dammit.

This one really annoys me. I saw the cat's face snarling and missed the focus:

This could have been frame-worthy- missed focus.

Ditto this one.

Oh well, live and learn. I'll go back in a week or 2 and try them all again.

Oooh yeah, been there. More than once I have gotten in late after an all-day hike, looked at pictures on the computer, and promptly proceeded to become so pissed off at myself that I can't sleep!

At least you can go back and shoot the same subjects!

I know what you mean, I had those feelings of frustration after my husband and I went out twice this past weekend... but I'm trying again tomorrow. I love that 2nd pic!
