I upgraded when the upgrade was worth it. That was every two generations for dynamic range or focus upgrades. I will upgrade my full frame again for the red video that is coming or a global shutter but I changed systems completely for my portraits. I use a light outside and was tired of HSS so I got a Hasselblad with a leaf shutter. No HSS just the ability to use the full
Flash power and that means a lighter smaller
Flash outside and more
Control. Otherwise it will be video or the global shutter for the next upgrade.
