Damn bleepin' Pokeweed. It grows so fast I swear if you turn your back it sneaks up on you. And if you cut it down it just comes back faster from the roots -- you gotta dig it up.

Thought this one would make a good B&W so here's both.

I like it in B&W, works nicely with the sunlight hitting it. Creates more atmosphere or mood, because it seems to emphasize the pattern and shape of the subject.


In color it keeps it in reality and got me thinking weedwacker.

I dig them out with a shovel. This one is in the neighbor's yard across the alley. They let it go to seed and that's how I get more of them every year. They are pretty when they flower, but they grow 8 feet tall!
