What's new

Extension tubes.

I use them with Canon lenses.

Tubes themselves I sometimes use with my telephotos to give just slightly closer focusing - very rarely for macro.

I have some others that get used when adapting lenses, but usually use a macro helicoid instead, which gives me variable length extension. With some of my lenses the helicoid will take a lens from infinity focus to about 65mm extension just with the twist of a dial.

For true macro shots I'll often use a Raynox or stacked lenses instead.

I've got a set of Kenkos in Nikon F mount. I use with mostly primes, and on occasion I'll use my F-Sony E adapter to shoot close-ups with my a6300.
