External Sound Recorders?

Good day all!


Im trying to shoot video(interviews-Events-Tutorials)with my nikon d90 and ofcorse there is no external mic plug in. So next best thing i gathered is to buy an external Sound Recorder/Mic.(and sync it in post production)

Ive looked at Tascam dr100 and dr7 but unfortunately its pretty difficult to find reviews or comparisons of them or for external sound recorders in general.


Could you please guide me in right direction either with a product name or a link where i can find best bang for buck external sound recorders.

If you are looking for sync software for separate recordings, check out DualEyes.

Low budget indy filmmakers round here all seem to love their Zoom recorders for great value for money.

You'll want a decent mic as well. What is your budget?

i do own adobe premiere and pretty sure that will do the job for synching as for my budget im looking for anything around 200 dollars but if 300 dollar system heavily outweighs in positives i might consider going that way.

if you have any personal recommendations im all ears!
