For three years, I have filmed within an extreme costly issue, that has oddly become ignorable. More than judge communities that violence is prevalent within, how might we fix policy to prevent injury, better engage and save money to preserve American greatness?

Your criticism (both artistically and politically) is extremely welcome.

The frustrated, upset, passionate citizen with the microphone at the town meeting said it best: "We got a culture of individuals killing each other because they don't dream!"

Don't forget the gun culture

Don't forget the gun culture

Don't forget the culture club - do you really want to hurt me?

Don't forget the gun culture

Really? This again?

Having a gun makes someone a criminal just as much as having a hammer makes someone a carpenter, or having a car makes someone a cab driver.

The difference without a hammer, the carpenter can't build a house..... without a car, the cab driver can't make a living.

Without a gun however, the criminal can still kill, rape and steal. Even if you were successful in removing guns from the hands of criminals, (and you wouldn't be, because they are criminals and as such don't follow the law anyways that's kind of what defines them as criminals) They would contimue to kill, rape steal and destroy lives by other means, take out just as many innocent people, and create just as many victims with as before. Instead of guns (which they will STILL obtain illegally, much like they do now) they will use cars, knives, baseball bats, chainsaws, toilet seats, bricks, and any number of other things at their disposal to carry out their evil.

This thread "won't make it through the night". AHHHHHH!!

Guns.....nah........I blame the parents, or lack thereof.

Living in an area saturated with gun violence makes this video hit home. Regardless of the guns being the problem, something has to change. Whether it is stricter gun laws, teaching parents how to parent, helping kids become productive and happy, creating environments which stress the necessity for people to work together for the common good, etc. Thanks for sharing.

Hitler and Stalin would agree with this. (Woooo Hooooo Godwin's law...... and on page 1!)

Ok, I will say this one more time.... CRIMINALS DO NOT FOLLOW LAWS. THAT, BY DEFINITION, IS WHAT MAKES THE CRIMINALS. MORE LAWS WILL DO NOTHING TO STOP CRIMINALS.

To stop crime, you need to target criminal behavior, not law abiding citizens. All more laws do is further restrict the law abiding, making the work of the criminal easier. Its such a simple concept, and yet so many people miss it completely.

This I completely agree with. This would be phenominally more effective than more laws.
