Cool pic. Not as punchy as some of the others you've posted, but great nonetheless.

Envious as always.

KabeXTi · Jul 9, 2008

Wow, you have some very impressive photos there.

Nice, I agree that you have a lot of other shots that are much stronger, but this is still nice.

I'm assuming you are flying the tanker?

JerBoyd · Jul 9, 2008

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, I get to fly the tanker. Love it.

Yea, I bet it's a trip. Do you ever get to fly anything else? I'd be curious to see what those F/22s are like!

What's up with the alien in the cockpit?

Your shots are always amazing... I'm always forwarding them to a buddy of mine who gets the shakes whenever he sees a jet.

I wish some times. But we stick to one plane for a few years. And rarely if ever will you transfer from the Heavy to a fighter. Ever so often you will find a fighter who has changed.

JerBoyd · Jul 9, 2008

Yea, that would be my tanker as a reflection in the HUD and then the boom extending down the back.

As for the pilot - His callsign might be alien.

Hmm... My stepson is 10 and a nut about planes. He'd love some shots like that for his desktop wallpaper.

peterbj7 · Jul 9, 2008

Superb. What's the tanker that you fly?

MissMia · Jul 9, 2008

Great shots. I'm super jealous! I always wanted to be a military pilot.

JerBoyd · Jul 10, 2008

Thanks again for the comments.

I am flying the KC-135. It's old but a great place to shoot from.

MissMia - I had the same dream and look where it got me.

Thanks
Jeremy

The KC-135 is a great airplane. I first fell in love with the F-4 Phantom and then the F-14. I'm too old to be a military pilot now, but I can live vicariously thru others. BTW - Thank you for serving our country. :hail:
