Yup, tough winter, 84 yesterday but only 73 today and they say we'll go down to 46 by morning. I did have to scrape the windshield once this winter... Now if we could do something about the snowbirds.

I live in Alaska and we've had a great winter. Don't think I saw temps under 10F for more than a couple days. We hit the 50s in January for a week-ish. Really no snow on the ground now.

What....... Wait........You mean all those scenes with all the snow and ice on Railroad Alaska were FAKE???? Talk about your unreal/reality shows. Jeeze, next your probably going to tell me that all those off gridders that they showed actually live in town in some luxury complex with an indoor heated pool and spa.

Ours has been a really mild winter too. It's been a bit wet but that's nothing unusual for Scotland. I've only seen the snow lie once and had to scrape the windshield about 3 times since September which is unusual, though it's getting colder now the clear skies are back at night. A couple of years back we had a really bad winter (for us), I left work on a journey that normally takes me 1hr 15mins........that day it took me 15 hours to get the 50 miles home and that was on the motorway. Luckily I had got a fuel and snacks and smokes on my way to work just in case.
