Does the sign in the first have some meaning?

"Vado Permanente" means "Garage entrance/keep clear". It doesn't add a meaning of any kind. You're right, I'll clone it to correct it

I was conversationally fluent in Spanish (my first wife was Puerto Rican) but I lost it in the divorce (along with my self respect).

I can't decide which of these I like the most.
They each have a quiet intensity that makes them very agreeable.

1 and 2 win it for me. The side lighting really brings out the texture in the concrete & the fabric/stitching of his attire. The shadow is a nice offset in #1. Nicely done

Lew hit it on the head. These are all really nice. If I had to give a third place winner (none are losers), it would be the elevator, but that's just personal taste. Very nice work
