Face Sizes

I was watching a Korean interview show (which had English subs ) and there was a mention about the Korean opinion that small faces were more attractive. I grew up in North America and I never had that opinion. Does anyone feel that way? Is it a "cultural thing" or is it a more widely held artistic opinion? I think that in the future, I might change my compositional approach a bit, "just in case", but it is a strange thought for me.

I never heard that smaller faces were more attractive. I have heard the opinion that rounder faces are more childlike and therefore more desirable. The article that I once read pointed towards TV commercials and who they chose to represent products. Of course all the specific ones they chose fits their narrative. I see many other examples where that is not true. I think it is all a matter of opinion and preferences.
