Great photo, and an incredible location!

yeah... We have many fortresses, old buildings and such. This fortress was built 13th/14th century.

If you were a tourist I could take you to some really cool places

Super location! Like the mood of this shot. Just curious where do you find your models?

oh well... in my neighborhood...on the street... mostly people I know or they cousins and such...

but... these days I'll work with a male model...that will be my first real model... people I photograph are just ordinary people, not used to be in front of the camera...a teacher, lady that work in kindergarten, student, chemist, sister in law etc.

I thought it was a composite not realizing there really existed such a cool place! Composition is very cool, my only complaint is the blacks of her gown, no detail, at least not seen on my laptop.

and yes, you're right about the dress... Somewhere along my editing process I lost details and it was too late to fix things when I realized that..
but... I decided not to worry about it too much

There's a lot I like about this shot - the location, the tones. And the model facing away from the camera works well with the overall mood of the image.

I like that you didn't center the walkway in the frame, but (nitpicking) I feel the image is a bit too biased to the right. You have the walkway on the right half of the frame, and the building continues off the right side of the frame (and has a doorway or window off to the right of the walkway). All that could still work for me if the model hadn't been as far to the right as she is. Yes, I realize she's not actually that far off the center of the walkway where she is standing. But with the perspective of the sides of the walkway, the right wall disappears into her hip while, in the distance, you get to see essentially the full width of the walkway to the left of her, which over embellishes the feeling of imbalance. It all just combines to make me feel like my eyes are being pulled slightly off the right side of the frame. Had the tree on the left been a little more defined, or had the model been a bit to her left (maybe even just left of center in the walkway, but still well to the right of center in the frame) so that the far end of the walkway was more balanced around her I may have enjoyed the shot just a bit more.

Again, nitpicking, overall this is a very nice shot!

I really appreciate your thoughts and I see what you're talking about, and I agree with you... It just didn't come to my mind while I was shooting her to move her a bit to the right (left actually because I flipped the pict )... But despite the slight imbalance I decided that the picture is worthy of editing

Excellent composition if you divide it up like @Tim Tucker does at times, very complex and intuitive. Well executed and advanced.

Really like the location, model, mood. But to frame and hang I think I would want the composition to be moved to the left about 10% and up about 5%. That would get rid of the odd stone /post/bulwark whatever on the left. It would move the model and the structure(rocky hilltop?)on the left in the distance on the hill almost equally on the 1/3 lines. Also it would put the model standing approx on the bottom 1/3 line.... I think then the composition would be museum/gallery ready! This is a good one, worth some extra effort imo.

yeah... it does need a bit work on composition
if i put it somewhere else ( not just on fb and tpf) I'll try a bit different crop
