The colours in the first pic are beautiful, the grass is a little intrusive at the bottom of the pic, although I understand you probably didn't have long before he ran away! The second pic is lovely! What a great pose for you!

Ya I know but they are so hard to get a great pic in the wild because there so jumpy.

Nice sharp pics and nice colours, but try not to "crop" off their tails. I know birds are "fun" to photograph, but the fact that they can be "jumpy" as you say is really part of the challenge in getting good images.
