Photos OK to edit
Wife told me to take a hike, so I did. Still have a few more to edit, but these will have to do for now.

3. (hey, they cannot all be B&W right?)

First two were shot with my 105 VR Micro, the third was shot with my 50 1.8. All handheld.

C&C away present and future professionals.

#1 would be so nice if there happen to be a drop of water from the leaf. But I like, gj.

I really like the third. The first two do nothing for me. I mean, the whole point of fall colors are the colors...

#1 and #2 would be better if you convert it back to colours as the best about Autumn is the colours. However, this is captured nicely in #3.

I think feeling the colors is just as good as seeing them. As for the water droplet, I think that is far to cliche and expected for my tastes. I think I will title that photo "Without a Drop". p!nK

It's like saying shooting leafs is cliche cause that's what all beginners do.

I have seen pros shoot leaves before, some have water droplets, some do not. Subject matter has nothing to do with skill level.

I think the best thing to do is be cliche' but put your own spin on it separating you from the rest. Afterall, what hasn't been photographed to death?

I dont care if something has been photographed to death. If its the first time he's done it then it hasnt been done for him. I personally like number one and love the title without a drop I think I might like it more with more negative space at the bottom. Number one is the only one that does anything for me.
