so aparently im a sucker...i paid 20 bucks per 36 slides to get them scanned in and well, im very disappointed with what i got. I know its not the actual slides because i've looked at them on a light table with a magnifying glass.
anywho, the scans just lack any sorta punch and are grainy...50 velvia grainy???) this was shot on velvia and the colors are amazing, and the scans dont even come close. I tried to photo shop some of the brilliance back in but still...
i want to post them anyways...(just imagine velvia colors....)

Well, don't the colours come out nicely and quite intensely in most of them?
The "vignetting" ... which it is not, just the sky turning almost black ... is it because of your use of a polariser? It is a bit much, I think...

And you had them "professionally scanned" and still get as many dust marks as you do in Photo 2? Would not that be reason enough to complain? I would be fairly miffed, more so if it is that expensive to have them scanned!

I can tell these have a lot to them, as slides. The colors look rich. You may want to consider having your slides scanned elsewhere though.
