Fall kids. C&C, please.

I'm trying to teach myself, so please tell me what I could improve on. The road behind us, I wish wasn't there but when I try to edit it out it is like it doesn't look natural. I'm not sure how to blend our grass with the shrubs and stuff across the road; it looks blantantly obvious that it was edited if I try. These were just taken in our front yard.
Be honest, I can take it =P You can't learn without making mistakes!

I think they are all slightly over exposed. They could be brought down by half a stop I thing. Not a fan of the framing on the first one, but the others are not bad. First one is just to centered for my taste. Also not a fan of the B&W, but I'm not typically a B&W fan anyways.

This might just be my vision, or maybe because I cant see the images full sized, but it seems like your not focused on the face, more the chest. The faces seem slightly out of focus, just slightly.

shot 1, the girl is in the center of the frame and the road doesnt follow the rule of thirds, it does in some vague sense, it feels hectic and unorganized to me.

Those are the two things I have to say really, otherwise your kids are adorable and I loved the photos!
