IMO the flash ruined it. Would have been a perfect time and location for no flash. Also you need to do a better job burning/cloning. Very visible on #4 top left.

I personally wouldn't say they're ruined, but the flash is rather harsh, which draws too much attention from your subject to your OCF.

Using the sun for backlighting is good, but it looks like you didn't use a diffuser of any kind for your OCF. If that's the case, you might consider at least setting up an umbrella for future shoots like this.

Something about the background being quite a bit lighter than the subjects is throwing me off too. They look overexposed, washed out and like you tried to "fix" them in post or something. It makes my eyes want to wander around looking at it instead of focusing on the subjects themselves.
