Absolutely love the composition! The only thing I was wondering is if a flash in front of him would of worked to give some separation and even a bit of an outline. The other thing is that I'm not sure if it is level. Although I have to tell you I am just getting into portraits and know little about them. But I do really like this, great job.

I wish there was a little more room around the image, especially where you've cropped her elbow off at the bottom!

I like the idea, but yeah I want mums elbow in the frame, also lay off the skin smoothing a little bit imo. That baby is adorable! I love the way he is hanging, totally relaxed on daddy!. 
If mum was looking up at baby adoringly it would be cute too.

I think it's artistic, I love it. The dad is strong in the frame, wife and baby very nice! Original idea?
