Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I just did this shoot yesterday afternoon. I would love some comments, opinions & CC on my pictures. I am mainly looking feedback on my processing (color, tone & WB) as I finally got my Spyder4Elite monitor calibrator the other day and want to see how others view my processing now. I know I like what I see on mine end for the most part :)

I love the processing. Were these shot with the 85 wide open on your D700? The DOF control is excellent.

Love all of them, the super hero shirts are awesome lol.

DoF is spot on.

Really love these. As stated from others, the DoF is great.

Very successful shoot I'd say. As for advice, keep it up. You've got a great eye. Good poses and good shots.

Thank you guys! Makes me happy :)

Yup, most were shot with my 85mm. LOVE IT! lol A decent amount of them were shot wide open. I sometimes stop down slightly if everyone is not in the same focal plane to make sure they're all in focus (Like the first picture I posted). I also used my 70-200mm and 35mm on a few of them in the full set.

These are all great. Mom's expression is a bit forced, but hey what ya gonna to do.

awesome! LOVE them all...... not sure I like the crop on number two but other than that ................... I am in love with all of these!

You asked for C and C so here is my opinion.

#1 Crop out the bench in the background. It is distracting.
#2 Point of view feels weird to me.
#3 You chopped off the kid's feet.
#4, #5, #6 Lose the tree.
#7 You chopped off mom's feet this time.

Thanks for the feedback!

- I kinda agree with your first point. It could be cropped in a little more to lose the empty bench.
- I can't completely disagree about #2. It's definitely a different POV.
- As for chopping off their feet, that doesn't bother me at all as long as I don't chop at body joints like waists, knees, ankles etc. (like #6 is borderline acceptable for me as It's almost at their knee joints).
- #4 & #6, the tree doesn't bother me either. But ya, #5 would probably be better without the tree.
