You need some more room in both of these.
They are REALLY heavy on the contrast giving you some incredibly black areas with no detail in it.

The tractor shot is just too sad, (sniff..) Good emotion in that one.

I've never seen one of those rakes in that light before, very good!

The first one is good, the tractor is like an old man tell you the old stories, only one thing not that perfect is color looks like a little bit warm, if u made it colder, it would show a stronger feeling. What is that in the2#, never seen that.

First one has a strong subject; but the composition could have been better; it did not need that much a tight framing; if you make it distant that would accentuate the feeling of being forsaken; i just could not understand what is in the next image :scratch:

Well, different colors make ppl feel different, normally you can feel cool and fresh when you see blue, white, or green and feel warm when you see red or yellow.With different color yo can set different mood. For the first pic, I think that tractor just shows a strong theme about time and history and it is better to use a cool or cold color.

You can adjust the color by post process with photoshop, Nx2 or other software,and also you can use a appropriate White Balane on your camera to take photos, for color temperature you can google that or see it here Color temperature - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
