Off course my one is Canon EF-S 55-250mm and Canon 60mm macro, is best and awesome lens as per my knowledge. best for zooming and other future.

Canon 60mm macro. The magnification on that thing is just sick.

If you ever get the chance try an MPE 65mm macro - the magnification in that lens blows the 60mm out of the water.


As for one single lens it is a hard choice as I like stuff from macro to landscape to wildlife; but

70-200 2.8, with stabilizer.

a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2 + 2*TC + 500D (the close up lens) could keep me mostly happy. Enough macro in that for larger bugs; 70-200mm works well for landscape work and the 2*TC helps with both macro and wildlife.
Plus it does it all to a high level of quality.
