FB vs PF

Yes I love FB also.......but on my friends list......there isn't a whole lot of professional photographers to tell me exactly what they think. I was just comparing the criticism.

I think there's only 2 more forums that I go to for brutal honesty and constructive crit. Offcourse the quality of the inputs you received will be dependent on how well versed your crowd is in photography...

To add FB won't be one of them. Even if you had Pro photographers on your contact list. It's not a place for that.

I get nothing but love, support and encourgment from my very small and special group on FB....Isn't that what Friends are for?

I am a part of a facebook group of local photographer - a private group.

We post sessions, websites, marketing materials etc and rip each other apart. Its a fabulous way to get input if you ahve the right people, and if its private.

Yep that's all I get from FB is total love and support......but that's not helping my photos get any better!

Then I think I need a reality check,but I dont know how to post any of my photos on here. Anyhelp would greatly be appreciated to help be progress and get the ball rolling to become a better photographer. All of my photos are on flickr though. I dont know how to get them on here,although i seen some people have like a flickr icon or something at the bottom of there post.

Thank you I really appreciate it. Most of the pictures in my albums on flickr are from the Autoshow this year. I know some of them look snap shottish though,I just wanna learn from my mistakes instead of making the same ones over and over again unknowingly.Once again thanx

Yes I get a lot of love on my FB page. I know I'm nowhere near the best but I like the best of both worlds.

I post a lot of pics I take at clubs on facebook so I can get the pics out to the people that were there. I only post the good ones on flickr. I only post pics here when i have a specific questions about how to correct something. PF is great if you need a kick in the pants to get you in the right direction. People can be harsh on here but sometimes that is good.
