FD lenses?!

I was recently given a 35mm Canon AE-1 Program with three lenses and four filters. Two of the three lenses are FD lenses - a 70-210mm f/4 telephoto zoom & a 50mm f/1.8 - and the third is a Pentax 28mm auto macro. Also on the rig was a Rokinon 2x teleconverter, a Powerwinder A & a Speedlight 188A flash. I can't get the battery compartment open on the Speedlight, which makes me think the batteries corroded and likely the whole thing is kuput. One of the filters is a 6x6 (I think?) Ambico amber-colored filter and a matte box.

Problem is, I don't do film. I have a Canon Rebel T1i and a 75-300mm f/4-5.6 telephoto zoom. I was desperately hoping the macro lens would fit but it doesn't.

I'm just now learning a bit here & there about the technicalities of photography, I had no idea until I GOT the T1i that FD lenses wouldn't fit. Is it worth an adapter, for macro?

Long story short...it's probably not worth it.

^ I agree. And is a 28mm lens going to do true macro anyway?
